Emma Gorge, El Questro Station, Western Australia
I used to be so disenchanted with the Australian landscape, and I longed for the evergreen pine forests of NA and Europe, but this trip really made me realise how insanely beautiful Australia is.

Only the crazy Landcrucru of Lenny and Louise can cross this river. We left the cars on the side of the road and jump on the 4WD. Tiny winding road in the forest. We park the car and the hike starts. After thirty minutes we reach the first spot where we jump from the waterfall. The place is incredible. Butterflies, flamboyant green trees and plants and a transparent water. A real little paradise. The second spot is as beautiful if not more so.
Name Of The Place : El Questro Wilderness Park Name Of The Place (Post#40) : El Questro Wilderness Park When I visited Australia.com and when I installed its apps to my iPad, I read the name El Questro for the first and it happened when I arrived in Australia last 2013.
All good things come to an end. This is the last of the 2012 Kimberley Series. This pic would be great with just the rocks, but with the river, reflections and wake it is one of the best of my Kimberley pics. Chamberlain Gorge, El Questro Wilderness Park, the Kimberley, WA
In El Questro Gorge on El Questro Station in the Kimberleys, WA. This tree looks like it has climbed the cliff face to escape into the sun. Just and illusion, of course.

On El Questro station as the west-facing ranges to the east glow with the setting sun. R nearly had conniptions on this road I took us on to get to this lookout. Indeed at one point, I was wondering too! The Kimberleys, WA.
