Detail of the diadem of Princess Sithathoriunet, daughter of Pharaoh Senusret II from the Tomb of Sithathoriunet at El-Lahun. Made of gold, lapis lazuli, carnelian and glass paste. The diadem was made to be worn above the princess wig. Middle Kingdom, 12th Dynasty, ca. 1897-1878 BC. Now in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
