"mike," she echoed, with a small nod of her head and trying to feel the way that it felt on her tongue. it was a common name, of course, but there was something that felt familiar about it. in a way that she could feel like she'd said it before, even though she didn't have any recollection of knowing someone with that name. "hi joyce," she greeted, walking up to where she was seated. it was always nice to know that she could depend on joyce to usually be in a handful of different places, making it easy to add the visit on to her usual schedule of things to do. while her first instinct was that whoever this person was that was trying to get her attention mistook her for someone else, it was hard to ignore. she didn't know very many people, so it was easy to expect that no one knew her. el looked around, trying to see if there was anyone behind her that this was meant for before turning back to him.
