It wasn't often that Cassie had free time on twelve-hour shifts but on this particular day off, she knew she had to productive in some form. She managed to do some grocery shopping and even did a load of laundry before deciding to grab some food.

The cafe down the street was her best bet on a good hamburger and fries. Was it the healthiest meal? Probably not but it sounded delicious and she could go for delicious.

Cassie slid into a booth near the counter, stretching her legs out in front of her. It felt good to be productive but it also felt good to finally just relax. She couldn't help but notice how busy it was inside and scooted her bag off the table to sit next to her on the booth - that way if someone wanted to join her they could.
