a quite *late* introduction
it's currently june 2nd, and i'm days away from my finals. but i'm here. acting as if i don't have any PTs to pass and lessons to study. (i'm shamelessly acting like it's summer alr)
I've really wanted to learn programming since I've known about codecademy but my lazy ass and my unwilling mind didn't wanna risk it. What risk you say? My time of comfort. Yeah. Yeah. I hate me too.
I watched Genco's tedtalk and he gave it out three reasons why we should all learn programming and the last one really struck out to me: #3 because you're lazy, lazy people find easier ways to solve a problem. and through programming we can find easier solutions to a problem. motivational enough?
anyway, as for me, i will try my luck in this field. it is like learning a new language for me, so hope i don't get bored in the middle and stop.
i'm a beginner. by the end of the month i want to know the basic concepts and be able to execute several scripts without a cheat sheet. haha. i just wanna be consistent and be persistent at the same time. :--)
