sorry this is the ONLY discourse ill allow myself to participate in post finale of agatha all along (or i fear i will lose my mind entirely), but DAMN some people out here rn after the finale being like “i’m sorry you didn’t get the agathario smut you wanted” BITCH!!!! I WASNT ASKING FOR THEM TO FUCK ON SCREEN!!!! i didn’t even need them to get together or even get any semblance of a happy ending!!! i didn’t expect a happy ending in the least tbh!!!!! but you know what i did expect? a final ending. a wrap up. a satisfying and complete finale. a conclusion that actually answers any one of my remaining questions or gave us more context for scenes that we’ve been missing context on the entire time. and i’m sorry but this finale didn’t do that at all. and it’s obviously not bury your gays but jesus christ it wasn’t a good conclusion either. at best it’s honestly a cheap set up for a season two or further content with billy that will prob include bits and pieces of agatha

While you reference my memepost where i point out that Integra has no ounce of "cringe", its more other people's definitions (or, "the societal definition") that i reference as "cringe." By societal use of the term, yeah, she has no cringe at all <3

Not by my use of the term either lol, but overall my definition of "cringe" is WAY less harsh. Like literally, 90% of everything that others consider "cringe" are things that i dont think are "cringe" at all.

While I dont consider Alucard's theatrics to be cringe to me personally, i know that it is on a general scale of how others almost always see it. Having a bullet in his mouth, using his teeth on his gun, firing with his gun behind his head (lucky for his eardrums that he's got regeneration XD), his speeches... all generally seen as "cringe" material. Of course, i see it for what it is: his mental health venting, & it makes me give him a saddened look, wishing therapy on him more than usual. This example is another good one for how others see cringe where i do not, mostly in part bc i see how it is on a psychological/lore level. The same to be said of other characters & plot aspects; what is societally considered "cringe" tends to have 'lore reasons' that lift it clear out of "cringe" status, so I dont see many of those things as cringe at all.

But yeah, bottom line is that, by ANYONE'S definition, not a single aspect of Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing in any way qualifies as "cringe." She just ISN'T. Integra is above cringe. She is... immune. You could throw cringe right at her like a bucket of chum & it would slide right off her - IT WONT STICK. IMMUNE. Then Alucard would shoot you bc you just threw fish guts on his master, but point being that she would be clean as a whistle.

Lief, Foxtrot, and Pelago are just adorable and love this tradition.

Scout, Shine, and Aurum are little shits who want to tease you.

Spur, Cook, Doc, and Thyme like to act like they have no time for these games. They totally do.

Archi just likes to make you work for it.

Ace, Chisel, Piper, and Flint think it’s all in cute, playful fun, and go along with it.

Tender, Calico, Mercury, and Viridis think the tradition is sweet.

Coyote, Cirrus, and Shuffle are either crowd adverse, shy, or both. If you can catch them somewhere private your chances are better.

Whip, Haze, Saturn, and Sage think the whole thing is pointless and a waste of time. They can kiss you whenever, why does a dumb plant matter?

So there we are. Not a huge expansion, but a bit of one.
