Now that said, my last line does happen to be:

I walk among mountains in autumn.

Which is really pretty bland, and is actually not so much plot-related as my excuse to mess around with conlangs by translating things from my characters' cultures...

So here, have a recent line from something that is more likely to count as writing:

It almost seemed she sprang fully formed from the heart of a storm, the child Annona was given to raise when the word - and the girl - came to her after Annona's daughter died.

Perhaps not happy, but a solid last (recent) line.
