On the left is the demilich! When a lich loses its soul cage but doesn't die, its body eventually crumbles. It falls into involuntary hibernation unless disturbed while its mind wanders the planes, as its magic and items infuse with its form. When disturbed and it snaps back to life! they can make clouds of debris, cast any spells from any item they've absorbed over thier life (get creative), and have innate magic to fly, teleport, and manipulate or launch items. and that spectral hand they can summon can lift 19 pounds, so actually has some force behind it. Note however, they do eat souls. So watch out for that.
On the right is the Elananx! These person-sized fey felines smell like smoldering leaves in a bonfire and have an affinity with forest fires. Can even turn into clouds of burning embers, and thier bite can ignite things! They're sadists who like to toy with thier prey. They also get along great with others who share thier predilection for prey, often joining in hunts with redcaps and other Elananx for friendly competition.
[School’s back from summer and I want to try my hand at monsters that are relatively easy on my energy, so it’s time to retro-convert some more critters from Pathfinder 2nd Edition. I’m going to be sorting these by book, so I’m planning on hitting some from each Bestiaries 1, 2 and 3 before delving into some APs and other materials (the Mwangi Expanse book has a lot of monsters in it, it seems).
Pathfinder 2e has a broader definition of fey than PF1e usually did. Non-humanoid creatures are more likely to be fey if they’re at all associated with fey or with the First World. See the minchgorm, which I already converted, for an indication of how far from humanoid they get. In PF1e terms, the elananx could certainly be a magical beast, but I kept it as fey. I’ve already done faerie cats, so I’ve set the precedent for myself.]
Elananx
CR 6 NE Fey
This creature resembles an oversized grey housecat, but its fur shimmers with heat and its eyes glint with fire. The scent of smoldering leaves fills the air around it.
An elananx is a fey predator that superficially resembles a man-sized cat. They are cruel and cunning killers, and like mundane cats prefer to toy with their prey rather than kill it cleanly. They prefer rolling hills with ample sightlines to spot potential victims from afar, and can follow tracks and pursue with tenacity more like a wolf than a cat. They collect in groups called billows in order to hunt larger and stronger prey, and are skilled at cooperative hunting. When outmatched, they erupt into a cloud of cinders, scattering and burning their foes before collecting back into a corporeal form and making a run for it.
Elananxes and redcaps get along with each other, as both are sadistic bullies. An elananx will happily flush prey towards a redcap ambush, and split the spoils of meat and treasure. Although they are large enough to serve as mounts for a redcap, elananxes see this as a grave insult, and will attempt to murder any creature that dares to try to ride them. Elananxes have an affinity for forest and grass fires, and may use their searing bites on dry leaves or brush in order to start them if bored or playful.

Special Abilities
Cinder Dispersal (Su) Once per day as an immediate action when it would otherwise be struck by an attack, an elananx can burst into a cloud of cinders. It takes no damage from the triggering attack, and cannot be attacked or targeted while in cinder form. In cinder form, it fills a 20 foot radius centered on its previous space. All creatures in the area are treated as having concealment, and take 2d6 points of fire damage at the end of their turns. At the beginning of the elananx’s next turn, it coalesces in any square in the radius of its cinder form and can act normally. If it attacks this turn, its natural weapons deal an extra 1d6 fire damage. An elananx cannot use this ability in an area of strong or stronger wind. If a strong wind is introduced into the area covered by cinders (such as via a gust of wind spell, the elananx takes 2d6 points of damage, plus an extra 1d6 per wind strength above strong (no save) and coalesces immediately.

On the right is the Gelugon, aka the Ice Devil. Strategists who only stop plotting if presented with someone witty enough to prove an amusing challenge. Or someone looking to exchange their service for later favors. They have magic to teleport, summon walls of ice, fly, and create illusions. It has perfect memory and telepathy, allowing it wonderful teamwork skills. However, its body is extremely cold and will cause your body to slow, so be aware of that.
