This was last month’s piece for Elastic’s Output Show. The theme was “Twins” so I decided to do a piece based on the show “Twin Peaks”. Crazily enough I just watched it for the first time a couple months and immediately I was a huge fan. This piece is based off of the ending of the series so I won’t say much more so I don’t spoil it for anyone. If you haven’t seen the show - you should check it out! It’s pretty brilliant.

Here’s my piece for for Elastic’s first Output Gallery Show last April. The theme was “Sweet Tooth”.

It’s titled “Decisions, Decisions” and is based on my experience as a child and always having a tough time making decisions - even the tasty ones. It’s a problem I still grapple with - I’m taking it one donut at a time.

This was my first time attempting watercolor and though it took about 5 tries to get it right (really I have 4 other attempted paintings tucked away) - I’m really starting to like the medium. Because there’s no painting over mistakes - it has ironically forced me to be more decisive with my composition and color.
