First time painting with the Warrior Painters! I haven't painted in gouache for a while and bit off way more than I could chew but had a lot of fun!

Here’s my haul last year’s painting trip in the Sierras. When I opened my bag this year, I found them which means I didn’t paint outside all year long! I certainly paid for it during this years trip and more than a few frustrating paintings were the result. This year I promised myself I will be better about getting out to paint.

This was last month’s piece for Elastic’s Output Show. The theme was “Twins” so I decided to do a piece based on the show “Twin Peaks”. Crazily enough I just watched it for the first time a couple months and immediately I was a huge fan. This piece is based off of the ending of the series so I won’t say much more so I don’t spoil it for anyone. If you haven’t seen the show - you should check it out! It’s pretty brilliant.
