Anyways i hope you dont mind that i sort of experimented with this one- tried a few brushes I dont normally use + mix between painted shading AND hatching! I dont usually do both at the same time but i wanna try using hatching more again.. its my favorite way to shade

i think my favorite part about dreads design is his hair actually!! Drawing textured hair is not only easier for me but its also just so much more funful..... works REALLY well with hatching too. Plus i dont think its intended but they also remind me of rain clouds which is really cool because i learned in my astronomy class once that I believe in Nicaragua? people back before technology was advanced enough to understand the weather patterns instead used the "horns" of the moon in its crescent phase to help predict the weather patterns!! So dread having rainy cloud hair and a moon theme works really well together.........
