i wanted to redesign pliers because i felt like he really needed it. i tried to make him look younger because he's actually the transformers equivalent of an 18 year old, that's why he still acts like an angsty teenager.

and no he doesn't hate optimus he just.. has no idea how to talk to him LOL. pliers feels awkward around optimus due to his role as the autobots' leader and prime (nobody tell him his dad is also a reincarnation of one of the thirteen primes). he feels like he can't be casual with him because of that and it upsets him, he doesn't want The Optimus Prime giving him a pep talk, he just wants to talk with his dad like normal kids do but he feels like he can't somehow. pliers also has always been closer to ratchet and it shows a lot.

Vampire Blood
