What are you currently working on?
The main thing always on my mind is my long fic Hope over Power, but I'm struggling a bit to write consistently right now. I think maybe I overestimated my capacity to handle the emotional damage I inflict upon myself 🤣
I've been hopping between many other wips while I procrastinate on the main, namely : Tav's short story, Conflicts of the Mind; a Tav POV last chapter for A Name is a Powerful Thing; the Orin short stories collection I mentionned once; a happy ending AU one shot (😭); and a few Storm one shots (one with Shadowheart, one with Gale, and of course one about the fabled catastrophic gith crèche episode. And then a few others on the back burner because clearly I do not have enough things I want to write but cannot... *cries*)

What's your next project?
Apart from finishing the bazillions of aforementionned WIPs, the next project I want to tackle is the re-outlining of the fic that will follow Hope over Power, because I'm splitting it into 1 short story and then another longer one, I think, and it needs a bit of reorganising.
I'd also like to start drawing more of my moots' OCs but unfortunately the only thing my brain wants to draw lately is Storm. Storm again. And then more Storm. I'm so obssessed with my own character it's not even funny xD
Extended leave approved by my company! Will either go very active or completely silent on here for a while xD can't really foresee which way it's gonna go before I find a healthy balance hahaha
Anyway. Complete shutdown of my system has been narrowly avoided hurray :3 Time to sleep for two months or more x)

Oh that one is fun :3 (mostly for my handle)
Blog name is... self explanatory. Professional maladaptive daydreamer, going through life in a permanent state of semi-dissociation, so I am quite litteraly staring into space 24/7.
My blog handle is more fun. Elcee is from my irl initials LC xD nothing very complicated here. And then Wunjo is the rune of the Elder Futhark (germanic runic alphabet) that is associated with joy, which happens to be the latin translation of my irl name. Can also be spelled as Wynn or Wyn, or a few other ways but I settled on wunjo because : I was very obsessed with Old Norse culture for a long time, got very into the group Wardruna years ago (they're still one of my favourites ever), and they have a piece of music named after that rune that I absolutely adore
This comes very close to actually reveal my actual name lol, don't think too hard about this x)
My 'I'll always order this' food:
As the oposite of a food person, I'm afraid I'll have to be very boring here. I always order the same sushis from the same place, almost every time I order food to be delivered at my place, and those are basic salmon roll with avocado.
Second go to order food is pasta from an italian place near my workplace, they do secret pouches with pear, nuts and gorgonzola and I order those more or less once a week, and they are my main motivation to go work in person at the office (I can't get them delivered at my place because I live too far)
I am nothing if not consistent in my decisions haha

🤣 -> laughing at stuff is my main coping mechanism and I will laugh at anything, funny or not. I use this emoji in very inappropriate circumstance sometimes and people don't understand why I'm laughing.

Movie: Right this moment, probably the new Frankenstein movie from Del Toro. Yes. I am fucked up.
Show: Hard to choose between ATLA and Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood, but I'll have to pick FMA because it makes me cry more and I like that.
Book: mmh.. I'm blanking. Used to be the Norse Mythology one by Neil Gaiman but that has been somewhat soured by the fact that he's a piece of shit.

Oddly specific thing that brings me joy:
When the drum beats of a song scratch my brain in just the right way, in that way that will make me loop the same 15 seconds of the song for an hour, driving everybody crazy (I joke, I don't do this when people listen music with me, I have some self control. When I'm alone though? Nobody can stop me).
And also, on the sam brain scratch vibe, when a daydreaming session provides me with the perfect dialogue line for a specific moment. That joy turns very fast into absolute frustration when I sit down at my computer to realise that I have forgotten that mind blowing sentence in the span of 20 seconds.
What smell makes me happy:
Smell of books, old or new, don't care. Librairies have always been my safe space.
Something I loved as a kid and secretly still do:
Not so secretely I suppose, but : jiggsaw puzzles <3, and also : reading/drawing till 4am and then cursing myself when I have to get up for work.

If you work, what is your profession and how do you like it:
I'm a CGI artist that specialises in CFX (so basically anything hair and clothes related for characters), and I currently work in a company that makes movies for kids (on Netflix). It is a passion job, but I'm currently not in a state to enjoy it, sadly. I'm trying to get a work leave for a few months in the hopes that I recover a bit... I miss enjoying it. But I guess 8 hour work day is just hard on me, I'm weak haha. Also, it's worth mentionning that while I live in Spain, the company I work for is in the USA, and we have been affected by the current political climate in the Sates quite heavily and it just.... fucking sucks xD That takes a lot of the joy away. Also : AI... Yeah. It's not great rn. But I used to love it.

Baldur's Gate 3
Did I mention more than fifteen hundred hours? Yeah. Easily my favourite game of all time.
2. Dishonored 2
Sadly I haven't played the first one (maybe I will, cause the graphics hold up fairly well even now), but the artistic direction of this game is mindblowing. Love it.

4. The Last of Us
Technically one that I haven't played (no console, and I can't play with controllers anyway) but I have watched the whole thing sooooo many times I still consider it as one of my favourite games of all time. Ugly crying.
5. Gris
So, funny thing about this one is : I normally hate platform games with a passion xD they stress me out more than any shooter game ever could lol. Nothing relaxing in plateform games for me. But this one!!! This one is amazing. It's gorgeous, for one. And the mechanics are nice, I actually enjoyed most levels instead of wanting to throw away my computer. And the music!!! The music is incredible. x) (it's a game about grief... who could have seen this topic coming in my top ten of anything list, lol)
6. The Witcher 3
I haven't even finished it lol x) but still makes the list haha
7. Diabllo III
Sigh. Putting this one here only because of the sheer amount of hours I've put in it, but I'm well aware the second one is better lol
the cutsenes tho?? amazing, thank you Blizzard. Eye candy for aspiring vfx artist me (at the time, I was in 3D school)
8. Assassin's Creed III
Sigh again. I wish I had played the ones before, instead. But this one was more or less my first video games ever, that I bought with my own money almost in secret (video games are ONLY for boys!! that's how I was raised, lol). So anyway, even if it's not the best of the franchise, I'm still very attached to this one as my first narrative game.
9. The Sims 2
The only game I was allowed before AC3, for being gender appropriate. Lmao. The gender conditionning worked out great xD (it didn't) But it makes it there because I was genuinely happy to have this game, and I did play a lot of it, back in the days.
10. I really want to put Disco Elysium in this list
Because I know I will love it, when I finally finish it x) But I only played 3 hours or so...
I also really want to put Clair Obscur : Expedition 33 here, but I haven't played it yet x) I'm keeping it for a time where I'll have more time and energy than right now.
