I re-read Deal with the Elf King earlier this year, and I really enjoyed it a lot more the 2nd time around. In fact, it's now one of my favorites, and something that will probably be on my annual reread list <3 It's such a fun fantasy romance take on Hades/Persephone, and even a little bit of Beauty and the Beast (which I am always a sucker for). Anyway, here is the Elf King himself probably wondering where his betrothed is, before she realizes who she is.

what's a book that you really wanted to pick up this year?

for me it was A Deal with the Elf King by @elisekova

this is probably one of the prettiest books ever, I opened the first page and was already mesmerized cuz each and every page is stunning!

one word. worldbuilding. my mind is shook. if you're a person who fancies worldbuilding more than romance you will love this. I, on the other hand love my romance and I was constantly wishing there were more moments between Eldas and Luella. but I must say the moments between them that we got were quite sensual and lovely enough that I was appeased.
