The Clockwork City was not an easy place to find, let alone get into.
And yet, this was not the first mage to seemingly randomly appear within its walls. It happened from time to time, a new face appearing out of the depths, or in the center of the City itself. No one, however, had ever appeared inside a workshop.
Especially not Sotha Sil’s own, while he himself wasn’t there.
It was a large room, a few half built automatons lingering in one corner, a round, pedestal like machine letting off soft, golden light in the middle, and a workbench laid out with all manner of tools; including some never seen on Nirn. No one else seemed to be there, surely looking around wouldn’t hurt?

“What the….?”
Twisting around, her head almost on a swivel as she took in her new surroundings, Aelith tried to figure out just where she was.
One minute she’d been in a dwemer ruin, investigating a strange glowing crystal. The next she was in this… was this a workshop? One heavily resembling a Dwemer workshop at that. Dotted around the room little gadgets span and puffed, every surface had some kind of project on it, green eyes lighting up with curiosity at the sight of them.
“Hello? Is there anyone around? I think I’m a little lost.”
She peers around, crossing to a heavy door, tugging on the handle despite her curiosity begging her to examine the things around her, some of which she’d never seen the likes of before.
“Sheos saggy under drawers, locked. Where in Oblivion am I? I’ve never seen anything like this before. I swear if uncle sheo is playing tricks on me again I’ll be telling Meridia to wallop him one with the beacon.”
