-Calmly and quietly ties a nice purple bow into his hair-
Allows this to happen. He’s used to it by now.

— ☩ Near Mysidia, Ingus walked through a small cluster of houses, practically feeling waves of magic undulate and ebb from the town. Snowfall was getting heavy, with the flakes considerably bigger in size. He figured that it wouldn’t hurt, that casting a Fire would go smoothly despite his near-depleted mana—lips moving, translucent orbs forming and twirling above his palm. Their velocities picked up, whirring about his hand, gliding along invisible orbits of various radii— ... But then, nothing. The light emitted by his magic suddenly dulled, the glowing particles shot out and dispersed across the residence, leaving little specks and broken trails of it through open windows and deserted alleyways.

They'd got their nose stuck in a book. It was a fair thing, written in Karnakian, the older tongue of it's modern incarnation, and for all Faris was fluent in the latter, the former took a certain degree of concentration to decipher. Particularly annoying was, perhaps, the language's insistence on using 'f' instead of 's' in every other word.
If they mistranslated 'forth' as 'shite' one more time, their pint of ale was getting rather well acquainted with the inn's wall. It was probably this distraction that meant Faris didn't realise the woman had entered until she'd already taken a table, sequestered away on some far side of the room. Usually it wouldn't have piqued the Pirate's interest in the least, but given that of all the clientele she was the only woman----Well. It made Faris very... aware. Just incase, of course.

[I get that! Tho I wanna go back and get a secondary teaching degree… Really can’t afford that either.]
I'm sat here like, well yeah i can animate, but i want to do something more painterly and sketching focussed now. I feel like my base drawing skills are lacking?? Like, i've been looking through Kashuans work, and I honest feel my work is lacking, in part because of a lack of life drawing for the past 3 years.
