I guess deaths are fun, that's why everyone's asking :D. Seriously though, even if some great deaths in the history of storytelling were pretty unexpected or worked because of that...exactly how do people think it will benefit the show? I made a pretty "make the characters miserable" a while ago, and even I kept them alive. And there's a reason for that.
Ehr... some people crave angst? And some are just scared by the possibility of a character dying, and they try to exorcise this fear by talking about it?
I always love your art style.
Like I will always know it is your art, just by looking 🤭🤭
So, how do you draw background? It is always so so sooooo detail!!
Oh, thank you! The gist of it is... it isn't always detailed per se in the conventional sense. It's not, say, a Jan Van Eyck where you can see detailed reflections on a small mirror in the back and every small detail of the pattern on the carpet in the floor, but rather a Monet, where it's more important to get the gist of where light and shadow are. And hopefully this comparison is already letting a bit of the cat out of the bag: I use some basic painting techniques to get backgrounds done. Effectively, I do the Bob Ross approach (perm sadly not included) and focus on the essential shapes. I have to draw trees? Make the trunk first and draw the branches all as solid color strokes (pretty much always black), then focus on adding light where the light bounces on them. Have to draw a cliff? Focus on the general shapes of where the crevaces are to add some shadows. If the background is abstract, I think of texture instead. Things like spraying make things look messier and add intensity(if not outright agression and violence), while things like straight lines add stillness. It's less that everything is actually there and more of knowing to make your brain fill the gaps, which isn't unusual in painting/drawing techniques. Oh, and the color palette comes last. ALWAYS. Wanna get your art looking visually clear in black and white before you focus on the rainbow. In the cases where it's truly detailed in the conventional sense (ie, when I draw every little urn on a medical shelf), I first sketch a rough placement of where I want things to be with the most messy of circles in order to (hopefully) choose my battles wisely... then spend a good long afternoon going at it :/
Spy X Family animation
Since this is clearly what people like the most out of my work, it only makes sense to continue doing it. At least down the line, but... which one of these would you like to be the focus of the next animation?

And before Halloween? Let’s get....silly.
Hey, even I can use some humor once in a while! Just ask the chicken.
