Yet ANOTHER FREAKING REDO OF HIS REF. I swear I keep not being pleased with it lmao I have gotten WAY more streamlined in Photoshop and I have figured out the select tool fully... that and I am not limited on file size or layers anymore and have lots more tools and modes to play with.  I think I have fully moved over to Photoshop after burying myself in tutorials xD

~The sound of that name had Zathog flinching away in quivering fear. Eyes going wide, he shivered but forced himself to tell the story. He was told, after all, that talking about it was a good way to work through such trauma.~ Zathog: He... He is known as Rhaegar the Cruel, or Rhaegar the Ruthless. He fits his name, hurting or even killing those who stand against him. He is like a madman, screaming and shouting one moment, then almost seeming sorry the next. It’s only got worse over time, the switching between raging, angry, striking me down and hurting me, to apologizing. There was something wrong in his gaze, something... that shook me to my very core. His face was the first I saw when I awakened, and he is the reason I am in exile here in Midworld with Nalin. He is cruel in every sense of the word, and out of the entire sect, I was the one who was hurt the most. I know he knows where I came from... At least, he spoke as if he did. But I just... I can’t go back there, and I can’t send anybody to go there either. They would go to their death. I wouldn’t wish his cruelty on anybody. ~His voice is shaky as he speaks of Rhaegar - both from how sick he felt, and how much the memories made him tremble in fear... and the tears that threatened.~

Zathog: In short, he was terribly controlling and abusive. Both mentally, and physically. Whenever I started to become sick, I would be punished and locked away in this little chamber thing he built. I would feel better for a time, but it was so confining that I was terrified of going in there, but at least... when I was in there he wasn’t currently hurting me. I honestly don’t understand why he exiled me, he seemed to want me to stay for some... purpose he kept going on and on about? But at the same time he wanted to force me to leave. One thing I remember is him screaming in this manic way to save myself and run as far from this place as I could. I still don’t understand.

((The art is a bit different this time as I am trying out Sai 2! It’s really nice but I am still learning the new tools. SO I used different tools than my usual! The image is a flashback, but also shows what Rhaegar looks like))

Zathog robed and unrobed, with and without the smokey effect he has. I also beefed him up a bit, because I always describe him as being really big, which he is. He’s tall, but also rather bulky.   As you can see with his unrobed version, there is no bellybutton, no nipples, and no genitals. He’s made of pure Darkness. He almost looks like he is made of light absorbing flames, blacker than the blackest black.  He doesn’t reflect any light whatsoever, so he looks like a silhouette. I made some changes to his armor and a minor one to his robe and hood, just trying to make it look better. Also? He is SO MASSIVE compared to an average six foot man! xDDD Zathog is exactly 15 feet and 7 inches. That’s bigger than a normal Warden, like Faye, who stands around 11 feet and 10 inches, just shy if 12 feet tall.

Got a little birthday money so I decided to get a commission of Zathog being adorable! Was a nice way to lift my spirits after a dismal horrible depressing soul crushing month xD Art by Alnix on fA!

Zathog wants to cuddle pupper. Pupper no likie big dark thing, pupper barks! Next he probably hurriedly put the dog down and ran away screaming with the little thing chasing and yapping and growling up a storm! lmao! Such a cowardly cutie!

If you want to try to explain to Zathog the whole thing about the Birds and the Bees... You MIGHT want to be careful on your wording. lmfao!

Zathog feels a lot better with all the Permutatio and help from Nalin, and the device is surely a help as well! It’ll help Nalin’s Essentia stores after all! He likes the soft plushie and the floral smell it has.
