Thanks for the ask! From this ask game
40) What do other people usually say about your whumpee?
"That depends on how they've seen him. With me, people usually talk about how well-behaved he is. His power must also be mentioned. It's impressive to have a sorcerer under control. A warlock at that. It's always noted how lucky he is to be with us."
"People tend to praise his compliance and efficiency. He can act up sometimes, but that's easily corrected. There is of course talk that we should be stricter, or we shouldn't have him at all; but he's a valuable asset."
44) Do you ever appear with your whumpee in public? If so, how do you make sure they won't run away?
"I don't often make public appearances, but we have occasionally. Even alone, he has a lot more freedom than others in his position. e won't run away; he has a good life here."
47) Which aspects of comfort do you allow your whumpee to have, if you do so?
"He gets a more comfort than he should, to be honest. Physical objects and surroundings; he has a nice room, and plenty of unnecessary luxuries. I do try and provide some affirmation now and then. Clyde disapproves, and then wonders why he doesn't respect him."
6) Do your friends or family know you're here? Do you think they miss you?
"They probably think I'm dead. It's better that way. I doubt they miss me much, either. I did technically betray them."
8) How would you describe your whumper?
"Alasdair is understanding. Patient. Intelligent, and not just academically, he knows how to play people. I'm not naïve, I know you don't get to stay in his position without doing questionable things, but he's a lot nicer than Clyde is. Not just to me, in general. I suppose I would describe him as bit unnerving; always seems like he knows things about me that even I don't. But... he's good to me, he seems to respect me, as an actual person, at least."
10) At which points are you most scared of your whumper?
"I've never really been scared of him. I know when to shut up, you know those people who don't say when you're in trouble, but you just know. He's never hurt me, though. Not himself."
12) Which of your whumper's rules you find harder to obey?
"I hate submitting to people, and find it difficult to keep my mouth shut sometimes. No eye contact too, I still struggle with that one. He also tells me to be nicer to Clyde, which is probably the hardest rule yet. I mean, has he seen Clyde?"
