by the way, we found a little tortoiseshell cat crying under my mother’s truck some months ago, and my mother got me to wrestle her into a carrier and bring her inside. no one has come to claim her, i suppose she’s ours now. i call her eleanor revolver rigby, though usually just ‘revolver’.
