Me: I know I feel strongly about some issues, so I will avoid volatile debates which include certain parties because their dangerous rhetoric does not influence my choice and just makes me mad

Me: *watches relevant debates to make an informed choice*

Debate: *has audience members submitting questions*

Audience member: so, in order to solve the housing crisis, we need to reduce the influx of refugees

Can We Please Reformat the Debates?

The moderators are not doing their jobs, questions that were supposed to be answered are only leaving us with more questions. 

I feel that these debates don’t help “undecided voters” (I don’t understand how anyone who is even slightly informed can be “undecided”) at all. Instead, it just makes things more confusing.

I feel that the rest of the “debates” should be replaced with town halls where they speak directly with the people. We’re the ones that must vote for them, so why not we ask them the questions and if they do things that we don’t find appropriate, we just shut them down?
