Election polling will be held for 119 constituencies in Telangana on 30th of this month. In this background, the election officials are engaged in the arrangements. The officials who have already trained the election personnel are also focusing on the security arrangements. On the other hand, the distribution of voter slips has started. However, the election officials have given guidance about the precautions to be taken by the voters in the polling centers. He warned that it is prohibited to take real cell phones into the polling stations and strict action will be taken if they take selfies while voting. Especially taking a photo of the cast vote and showing it to others and sending it is also against the election rules and punishable. According to Section 49 (m) of the Representation Act, the Election Commission shall not divulge the secret of the vote. Election officials will register a case against anyone found violating these rules. The polling officer shall record the vote of that elector in 17-A. He said that vote will not be taken into account during counting.
