APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR ELECTIONS COMMISSION CHAIR EXTENDED TO JULY 2
PEARL CITY, May 28, 2015 – Members of the Elections Commission are extending the deadline for applications for the position of Commission Chair. The new application deadline is Thursday, July 2, 2015.
Interested applicants should submit their resumes with a cover letter postmarked by July 2, 2015 to: Elections Commission, State of Hawaii, c/o Office of Elections,802 Lehua Avenue, Pearl City, HI 96782. The duties of the Elections Commission are to hold public hearings; investigate and hold hearings to receive evidence of violations and complaints; employ a chief election officer; and advise the chief election officer on matters relating to elections. Elections Commission members serve without compensation, but may be reimbursed for reasonable expenses, including travel expenses.
