While it wasn't exactly uncommon for Electra to end up getting invited to these kinds of parties, she usually knew most of the people at them. However, she was pleasantly surprised to find that she barely knew a single person here, a couple of faces here and there that she knew in passing, but for the most part, a sea of new faces. This was a rare opportunity, one that she intended to make the most of by drifting between clusters of people dancing, and testing the waters till she found someone who caught her attention. As unashamedly forward she was in approaching people, it seemed that most were either already taken, or didn't really hold her interest. That was until she spotted a perfect opportunity.
Electra moved through the crowd with ease, her years of party going meaning she was in her element. It took almost no time at all for her to reach the person that'd caught her eye. They were a fair bit shorter than her, and had a figure that Electra couldn't take her eyes off of, but most importantly, she had the perfect chance make a move before anyone else did. So, as she approached she made sure to 'accidently' bump into her, allowing Electra to place an arm around her to steady them both.
