He's honestly note even sure what he's doing anymore. The day is absolutely wonderful and he was going to relish in that fact. It was very rare that he even ventured out in his homeland.
"It's a lovely day, don't you think?"
Earth tones splashed the walls; covered her. The home could seemingly use a new change, especially as they'd suffered one. Kate and Tanya undoubtedly. The two blonde's had been closer to Irina than either Eleazar or she had, but the turmoil was still rough. -- And that was what the redecorating was for. The silent keeper of her, and everybody else's thoughts she was.
"Katrina, you're home early."
Progress; 1796
The past three years had been among the fullest, most blissful years of Eleazar's existence; seldom did a day flit by without him acknowledging it, either aloud or mentally. It had been such a long, winding, sinuous road to his current state of unadulterated joy, but Eleazar would gladly navigate it one thousand times over if that was what it took. Cliché as they may sound, his thoughts were of the utmost verity. He had been doubtful that happiness would ever be in the cards for a beast like him, but here he was, and he felt that he had earned it.
He was deeply invested in another one of his moments of gratitude toward Carmen, his friends, and fate as a whole when he was roused from his reverie by the tap of a familiar set of footfalls against wooden floorboards. His head tilted toward the source, and the smile adorning his countenance broadened.
“Katrina,” acknowledged Eleazar, ebony eyebrows lifting curiously. “How was your hunt?” That was where he assumed she had been, if the lingering odor of cougar blood was any indication. Animal blood was among the most revolting dreck Eleazar had ever had the misfortune of tasting time and time again, but at least cougar was somewhat favorable. Carnivores were a delicacy in comparison to some of the other creatures, humans aside, he had consumed.

[ Random visitors made her uncomfortable, especially when she couldn't see them coming. She was alone in the Cullen house, and when the vision came, she couldn't see a clear image. A flash, here and there, sent her to the porch, where she waited. ]
"I wasn't expecting guests."
