- Kyle gets invited from time to time on Soojung's livestreams but he also gets put in a penguin suit. Soojung made sure to give him his piercings even in the Vtuber model.

- When Dongyeon's father died, Kyle and his parents were one of the only people allowed to attend the funeral as a part of family (due to the circumstances he'd been killed) and it was one of the only times he'd seen Dongyeon cry

- Soojung and Dongyeon take turns to couchsurf at Kyle's place all the time, and his house is one of the only places Soojung sleeps comfortably at without consistently waking up in a panic about an unfamiliar area

- After Kyle broke up with his ex Soojung and Dongyeon threw a lavish party to drown his sorrows out (and also celebrate Soojung going overseas), which left a massive, expensive mess and also the trio all getting sloshed, a rare feat for the trio

Soojung has an AU in which she’s a penguin Vtuber who teaches art to her fans alongside other gaming-related shenanigans, and she eventually has a special series named “Appagwa-aegi” (Father & Baby) with her father Changjoon!

The gag here is that there was a Gag Concert skit named “Father and Son”, and she plays off that by having her father also play multiplayer games with her and they usually have long conversations about life and existentialism along the way.

It all starts when Changjoon starts watching her streams to be supportive of her new habit (and because she’s based in LA in this while studying), and he eventually subscribes to her channel, which Soojung immediately notices, having made a unique sticker pack for her father to use for communication.

Appagwa-aegi is unique in that Changjoon primarily signs in this, and Soojung had rigged up the penguin model used for him to be able to detect and display KSL as well, which has won her even more fans for the dedication to detail doing so! Changjoon’s wise and calm conversations even when he struggles in game has also won over more people just from the family friendly content and his sheer amount of patience in clearing content with his daughter.

While Soojung’s usually a grey penguin, Changjoon’s model is the standard black emperor penguin with his signature square glasses.

Changjoon also gets fielded questions by fans to answer about Soojung, but just as mysterious as Soojung is to her fans beside her voice, Changjoon is equally tightlipped and vague about her.

Occasionally Yeonjae appears on stream too when she’s not too held up by Hangjo’s affairs. She doesn’t talk very much, but Soojung’s Korean audience have speculated about the similarities of Big Blue Penguin’s voice to the chairwoman of Hangjo, something Soojung’s debunked as her never being that influential...or is she?

Soojung also jokingly refers to the show as Appaga-aegi (father is baby): because after his TBI Changjoon has changed from appa to aegi according to her, and needs lots of help for everything :3

Stealing

You ever had your car or apartment broken into and your most valuable or loved possessions just taken away from you? Let’s be honest, most people steal because they simply need to to survive, maybe some out of greed, but you do it out of pure malice. You take the last of your roommate’s ice cream, you steal your siblings favorite stuffed animal, you steal your classmate’s pencil box, if you steal money from someone you genuinely think that person deserved it. Your crimes can range from shoplifting to grand theft, and you fucking hate billionaires. The best things to steal aren’t money though, it’s things that people love or can’t live without. Many don’t know of this hate language, but if you’ve ever had the impulse to steal your enemy’s last soda, you now know why.

Changjoon pulled himself up by the bootstraps with his Rotom companion, whose ability to possess appliances proved an invaluable asset when he inevitably had to turn against his father-in-law for corruption. Being from the countryside where the sun doesn’t shine, Rotom simply followed Changjoon around out of curiosity, and Changjoon never officially captured it until much later. Unlike most Pokemon, Rotom floats above Changjoon’s shoulder and is rarely, if ever, seen in its ball (a Luxury Ball Changjoon had scourged up the money for). When he attempted suicide, Rotom was placed temporarily in the care of his wife Yeonjae and just as Changjoon loved his wife, Rotom followed her beck and call as if Yeonjae had raised it her entire life. With Changjoon’s current uphill struggle in relearning how to speak, Rotom now acts more like a service Pokemon by possessing his Bluetooth earpiece and translating his speech into something more comprehensible.

The Lees had kept a Zekrom in their basement for many years, the older Mister Lee having captured the Pokemon embodying ideals with a Master Ball before using their abilities to create and maintain his iron grip on Hangjo all these years. After the older Mister Lee passed on in prison, Yeonjae inherited Hangjo and found the Zekrom in the basement of Hangjo itself, bound to power the company with their limitless potential, and Yeonjae decided that for her first order of business taking over that she would free the Legendary Pokemon that was never hers to keep. Zekrom left, but eventually returned two years later when she needed them most, sensing her idealism and finally being won over by her determination and poise handling Hangjo all on her own. This legitimised Yeonjae taking control of Zekrom once more, and they fight as one if and when Yeonjae requires their assistance to assert dominance.

Jangil was gifted an Eevee by his father as a child after being admitted to high school, which evolved into Jolteon when he managed to save enough as a prosecutor to purchase himself a Thunderstone. Word on the block claims that his Eevee had been purchased from a pedigree breeder after Jangil’s father earned his first windfall through his questionable dealings. Jolteon was often dispatched by Jangil to run errands for him, and is surprisingly tame and calm only to him. Traumatised by Jangil’s attempted drowning, Jolteon refused to leave Jangil’s side afterwards and is often seen pushing and manuvouring his chair like a sevice Pokemon or simply walking by his side. It is also allowed in the psych ward that Jangil had been kept in, due to his unique nature of being the only form of inheritance his late father had left him. Like his owner, Jangil’s Jolteon is neurotic and highstrung, but potent when forced into any sort of combat.

Eunsoo was never allowed to have a Pokemon growing up due to her father’s license being revoked, and when she’d become a prosecutor post-probation, she’d become hard-pressed into obtaining one as a form of protection. She’d intended to sign for a rental Pokemon while she tried to search for one to call her own, but when she’d nearly been murdered, a little Marshadow who’d been tailing her from curiosity showed itself and managed to fend off the attacker and his Pawniward before she’d been killed. The Marshadow then hid in Eunsoo’s shadow during her hospital stay, observing the strange prosecutor and eventually growing bold enough to sit on Eunsoo’s lap while she recovered. Unaware of the Mythical Pokemon’s capabilities, Eunsoo instead treated Marshadow as a child and a pet, and when Marshadow seemed pleased by her behavior and chose her as their Trainer, Eunsoo happily took it in with a plain Dusk Ball. Marshadow rides on Eunsoo’s shoulder or hides inside her scarf most of the time instead of staying inside their Ball, just as awkward and shy as their owner.

When Soojung grew of age at 10, Changjoon and Yeonjae both agreed to get her her first Pokemon and her Trainer license to start her off early, and let her pick out a Pokemon from an esteemed breeder who was happy to provide just about any breedable Pokemon under the sun for the heiress of Hangjo. The sounds and smells there didn’t seem to upset the usually shy Soojung, and she’d taken a shine to a Togedamaru egg that had been left by and large unattended because “its markings matched her sweater”. Unable to argue against their daughter’s logic, Changjoon and Yeonjae let Soojung bring the Egg home on the promise that she would accept whatever hatched from it as her companion. Soojung was distressed when the egg did not hatch into a second sweater, but continued to nurture and play with her new Togedamaru as one of her only friends, and eventually Togedamaru grew into a powerful ally in her own right. Togedamaru usually rides along on top of Soojung’s penguin-shaped bag when she goes to school, rarely staying in her Ball and often seen siphoning excess electricity off the drawing tablets from other students.

Byungchul’s Melmetal is never accounted for. Some say he was assigned a Meltan during his assassin days, and others claim he found a scared Meltan while travelling and due to its portability managed to keep it hidden until it evolved into Melmetal. Whatever it is though, Melmetal is surprisingly and shockingly capable, and he rarely if ever produces his Melmetal, for he claims it “unnecessary”. Melmetal seems to also be the Pokemon that’d inspired his hobbies of glassblowing and forging, due to its boundless resource of processing metal as and when it pleases.

🌾 Describe your OC through the eyes of someone absolutely head-over-heels in love with them

“Well, he’s not exactly the easiest man to love. He’s difficult and prickly, not to mention spoilt, but there’s just...a way he does things that makes you think ‘oh, I’ve never thought of that’, and he dances to his own beat when he makes everything fall nicely in place. He cares a lot: loudly, energetically, and powerfully, and not everyone could be as all-encompassing as he often is around other people. Possessive? Yeah, probably. It’s not really something I would notice or mention though. It’s just his way of showing he minds.” 

🥀 How would your OC decorate a notebook or journal? What kind of things are written in there? Could you give an example of a nice entry?

Inwoo’s journals (a sprawling amount of them, actually) are usually plain with little determiners to show he owns them except his unique style of notetaking (cursive, mirrored font). He often pens violent and disturbing thoughts about how he wants to kill people, even the most personal slight being pencilled within them but in the past year has shifted into entries about plant growth and self-discovery about modifying different plants to suit his vicious and often difficult needs. 

His nicest entries would just be measurements of Cheonche’s growth and a minor note or two about what he’d be modifying next, owing to his rather erratic temperament and finding no joy whatsoever in most things. 

🌻 What little things do they notice about people or the world around them that make them happy? What tiny little treasures do they find in the normal every day that makes the world seem a little brighter for them?

Soojung is generally a bright person, so to her, small acts of kindness and any sort of artistic expression makes her happy. She tends to find muse in the little things, so most forms of interesting/cute fauna or flora is more than enough to have her slow down and admire them for a few moments, then leave slightly happier about matters.
