Electronic Frames & Lenses...?? Introducing pixeloptics.com
My initial visit to Pixel Optics' site soon had me scratching my head (in a good way).
They offer a lens named "atLast."
They introduced me to "composite-lens" engineering.
They invented electronic eyeglasses. (?!)
Perfectly proclaimed the lens design "emPower."
Is the Rx-lens market ready for electronic lenses? Pixel Optics believes it is. They boast an impressive internal roster--combining cutting-edge Rx-lens experience, innovative business platforms and have " secured significant financial support from a variety of top tier institutional investors well established in the health care market."
With their "emPower" lens design it seems that PixelOptics is not aiming to just enter the progressive* lens market (*or PAL, short for Progressive Addition Lens). They've created a new eyewear experience. Pixel Optics are keen to allow their R & D to speak (or "see", haha) for itself.
