VIXX Elemental Bender!AU [ Hyung Line / Maknae Line ]

+ Cha Hakyeon / N +

water bender

water is usually associated with being emotional, intuitive, deeply creative, empathetic

and that is exactly what Hakyeon is; he is very mature, calm and collected

water allows people to emotionally connect with others; Hakyeon relates to his members very well and is very understanding of them

Hakyeon uses his water powers to get revenge in a playful manner too

You know how the maknae line is always messing with him? Well, if VIXX is in the beach or the pool, Hakyeon can use his powers to make ceaseless waves to mess with the maknae line

uses his powers to clean and make sure the dorm is all sparkly and fresh

will not hesitate to douse the other members with his water powers if they are dirty, sweaty, etc. and refuse to have a bath

can control the temperature of the water to a certain degree; instant bubble bath if he wanted it, then if it’s a hot summer, he can make the water cooler

uses his powers to stay hydrated too; while everyone’s out of breath and exhausted from dance practice, Hakyeon would be standing there all flawless and chill  

+ Jung Taekwoon / Leo +

earth bender

the earth element is associated with being grounded, practical, disciplined and focused

Taekwoon is definitely grounded and practical; he is very simple and mature with a well-balanced persona

it has been said that earth people have few friends, but they are very loyal to those friends; doesn’t that sound like Taekwoon? He may not be a people person, but he is very loyal to those he holds dear

likes to spend time alone in the garden or anywhere nature-y just so he can relax and have healing time

thanks to Hongbin, he also has a penchant for growing little plants; often keeps these plants in little teapots or teacups

has a garden just for vegetables and herbs; he plants and grows his own vegetables using his powers and would use these as ingredients for whatever he cooks

also has tea garden with all sorts of tea plants 

coffee lover Taekwoon would also grow his own coffea plant for coffee beans

his room or area would often be a mix of earthy scents (because of the plants) and coffee/latte (because he is a coffee lover)

+ Lee Jaehwan / Ken +

fire bender

fire is associated with being enthusiastic, impulsive, inspirational, humorous, dramatic and fun

Jaehwan is definitely all of that, especially humorous, fun and enthusiastic; he’s the mood maker and sunshine

it is said that fire draws balance by being with the three other elements (water, earth and air); Jaehwan remains balanced when he is with his other members too

when Jaehwan loses his temper, there are times when he bursts out in flames which will have to be put out by Hakyeon

parter in crime is Hyuk; wind can make flames stronger, so imagine what kind of antics these two get in to

likes to pretend he is a fire dancer, much to Hakyeon’s dismay because leader hyung is just worried Jaehwan might burn something

would use his fire to cook up some ramyeon or toast marshmallows when he feels like having a snack; uses his fire to warm up food and drinks too

when New Year’s comes up, Jaehwan is responsible for lighting up the firecrackers, sparklers, fireworks and everything in between

has a love for campfires and will set one up if he wanted to

has no problem staying warm during the winter and will willingly warm up the others as well

No, it’s not Jiraya! XD It’s one of my OC: Ghilad (look at the ears). 

Ghilad was one of my first OC and I drew him like the perfect son-in-law, the typical LotR elf with long white hair without any nods or something. Then, I told myself that I had to take another way, with more realistic elves, with failures and bad habits, doing things a normal human being can do, etc. So I gave him a sad past to compensate the fact that the guy is an handsome prince and a air bender. 

And I still don’t really know how to picture “air”. ^^;

If you ask me who is my favorite OC amongst the Elves I created, I’ll tell you: Nox. 

In France, we’ve got a proverb that says: the more you love someone, the more you hurt him/her (well, something like that, it’s kind of hard to translate litterally). And Nox is definitely the Elf character who has the hardest life in my universe. I can’t tell you more because it’s a spoiler (you’ve to read the second book of Guerrier Loup (Wolf Warrior) to understand).

There is just two things I can say. 

First: my Elves are elemental benders (not all of them, but some of them are). But there is not just four elements, there are 6 of them: water, fire, earth, air (like everyone knows), natural electricity (like thunder or magnetic fields) and light and shadow (two intricates elements reunited as one even if some elves are just light benders or shadow benders). Nox is a light/shadow bender. A strong one, really powerful, born as a master of those elements, able to use them since he was a kid.

Two: he’s my own Severus Snape. :D

I tried to play with the different capacities of watercolours, and that was hard! o_O I wanted a really dark black to have a strong contrast between the light and the shadow, but need water in this dark page to have infiltration effects. At the end, it looks like what I’ve got in my mind but not completely. ^^;
