"Enough... I'm ready for winter...."
//Cant remember if I shared this before.
I have made a DnD campaign map for the fantasy world I designed around Gisha/Kolkai’s elemental lore.
Each tile is 12 hours by foot. Most mounts double that speed. Grey (mountainous), marshland (bright green), sulfur land (bright yellow), arctic (white) all take twice as long to traverse. Dark grey (impassable mountainous) must be climbed. Sea tiles require boats or some alternative mode of travel.
Understanding this land is in no way a requirement to interact. It’s just the background I tend to right these characters in when the verse is unspecified.
“Another Friday, another pointless date...”
The Primordial of Flame
"Valentines Day....? No, absolutely not."
The knight had accomplished his task with relative ease, though it seemed like he was not fast enough as for some reason, the person who had hired him was unavailable. He had what was needed in slight excess, what's more, he was genuinely curious what tome she would bestow upon him. Getting a touch impatient, he would go up to her room along with a servant and he would wait, items she requested on his person, for her to open the door. "If she is having some trouble, I can always assist here too," He would mumble to himself as he waits to see if she comes and collects the food.
Truthfully, Gisha hadn’t really expected the lone adventurer to return from Brightrock Gulch. The living stonework constructs said to inhabit that place were described by the surviving scouts as “unsurvivable”, which the elemental thought was curious as most of them had actually returned. Still, to seek a sample of the living stonework…
“You…” she said from the door. “You came back…”. Opening the door a little wider, she allowed a fiery glow to pour forth. She was wearing her scarlet robe and looked very tired. “You have a sample?”
“….”
"....what are you thinking about?"
