I love how Elementary is allways picking up on up-to-date topics. Now they are named ‘New Macedonia’. Or the epsiode where they revealed that pace maker are hackable and comapnies are working on non hackable alternatives. And a few weeks later it was all over the news that companies are now transplanting the first non-hackable pace makers.

I just watched the Elementary season one finale again, like you do, and felt the need to promote this blog one more time. Because the last two minutes of season one are a miracle best enjoyed in the company of those who share that sentiment.

Because it's been a while since I promoted this little gem, and since I just got to reblog a new post to it, and since the newest episode was a wee bit stressful, have some shameless promotion of the happiest corner of Elementary fandom. 1. I still get flail-y named-a-bee feels watching the end of 1x24 no matter how many times I've seen it. I so much prefer that quiet resolution and mutual regard over any cliff-hanger angst-fest finale fireworks.

"You named a bee after me?"
This season finale just...ugh. The episode before just gave me so many feelings and then this bitch walked in and was all, "here's some more!" It was so incredibly important to me that Watson is the one who bested the nemesis, and also important to establish the growth both her and Holmes have made as detectives and as people. The scene between Moriarty and Watson at the restaurant was just delicious. I know it's a little blah that it's two women discussing a man, but it is done in such a unique, crackling, un-catty way, and actually serves a purpose that is not entirely romantic.
"I remain quite drug-free. It's good."
