Ok yes I know I've drawn them in a similar pose before but fuck man, it's been ages since I drew my girls and I miss them so damn much. I miss drawing too. Just used tissue to blend the shading. It actually looks a lot better irl than the picture I took here.

Ok, I’ll color it later on, but I really do love the progress.

Y’all, Nzinga is so effing badass! She doesn’t often fight on the front lines because of her position in the tribe, but she ain’t afraid to throw down when the time comes. 

I think one of the biggest things that yall will notice is that I changed Nzinga’s almost everything. Her hair changes from down to up, she has WAY more piercings that before, lips, nose, etc. The piercings have a lot to do with her position as a youth growing up Geomae as a merchant’s daughter. I also stepped away from the ways I had been drawing the others and wanted to make her look more unique.

On a personal note: drawing has dried up because of all the stuff going on right now. I hope I’ll be able to gain some sort of normalcy to start drawing again.

Alrighty, added color to it. I think I definitely made a mistake using TWO light sources when I’m still trying to learn one (WTF was I thinking?). I just wanted to finally finish a piece after it’s been quite a while since I colored something. At least I think that’s the case, yall know me with time lol.

ALSO, I made a ton of mistakes in here and they actually ended up being happy mistakes so I kept them.

Anyways, yeah, you’s bout to get fucked up by Lady Ambassador Nzinga and it won’t end well. Her fire balls aren't anything to play with... at all. Just know better by staying on her good side.

Finally finished that ink piece I showed some of yall last night. I got kinda lazy at the end (but I knew that was going to happen). My OCs, Nzinga and Margie. 

So yay on doing more clothing, boo at how much GD detail I put in it (I didn’t even do all the designs that I wanted tbh).

Ok ok ok, I planned on pumping out an Eycis piece, but come on! Looka him! Just look! Ole sexy ass. 

I missed him being naked so yeah, ole nakey Franky.

Oh yes and I'm working on emphasis lines. Think I went a little overboard but eff it yo. I like how he came out.

So I realize that I’ve posted a lot of Margie and Nzinga or Eycis and Frank. I’ve even said a little about Nzinga and Frank’s friendship, but I realize that I haven’t talked about Eycis and Margie’s friendship at all.

At the start of the book, these two women have been friends for eleven years, meeting on the battlefield when Eycis (and Mahri before he became a douche nugget) was wounded by a poison tipped sword. Margie, who’d just arrived to the country, was assigned to them to ensure they healed properly. Since then, she and Eycis have been inseparable. (And for those who read) Even after the prologue -_-. 

Eycis can be a pretty stoic and inexpressive person, but not around Margie. Not around people she cares about and would be willing to die for.

Hey, look yall! Eycis is actually smiling! LOL! And why TF did I do this angle for Margie?

Frank has been inked and colored. Now that I’ve colored it, it could totally work as canon.
