Frog: I can do ten backflips in a row if needed.
Elephant: In what situation would that be needed?
Frog: I don’t know, but at least I’m prepared.
Elephant: Can you believe a customer came in without a face mask?
Elephant: I told him it didn’t matter what kind of face covering he used, it only mattered that he had one.
Elephant: This is where my tale takes a dark turn.
Elephant: Now peeved, the customer stormed back to his car where he had a bagged lunch.
Elephant: He angrily removed the plastic wrap from his sandwich and wrapped it around his head to serve as a face mask.
Elephant: He suffocated in minutes, obviously.
Mouse: ...Is that the sandwich.
Elephant: Well, it would have gone to waste!
Elephant: I’ve been cursed with an amazing memory. You couldn't possibly name one time I forgot something.
Bear: You left me in the parking lot yesterday.
Elephant: I did that on purpose. Try again.

#bamileke #elephantmask #cameroon #tikar #aswantheirorigin #repeat Another person I know just got their results back and a part of his DNA traces back to the Bamileke people of Cameroon. This is the elephant mask of theirs. It's from the Kuosi society and signifies kingship and wealth. The Bamileke arrived in the Tikar region in between the 9th-11th centuries. They were migrants out of Aswan. Considering that the Fatimids and then the Ayyubids were taking control of that region then it makes sense that the Bamileke exited as other tribes had before them. During the 17th century the Bamileke left the northern part of the country to avoid having to convert to Islam. They went south into Foubam. There also was the transatlantic slave trade which was a threat and to avoid any further capturing the Bamileke moved further south. The last pic is of the Foubam museum which has to have one of the dopest architectural designs around. https://www.instagram.com/p/BzjYD5ZhTPn/?igshid=rojuxxe5wrbl
