Omg you are so right a while after the identity reveal, when they've all internalized the fact that their dispatcher is Mecha-Man, one of them (probably prism) out of nowhere just texts the group chat with a link to the Mecha-Man "face reveal" and a caption "Omg when were you going to tell us you were on The Masked Singer?" And the rest of the chat goes crazy. And there are two ways you can take it. He could be like William Shatner (objectively bad at singing but clearly had fun) or way better be like Wayne Brady who won the thing and just shocked everybody. Him winning would be even better if like 90% of the singers were like C-list celebrities like the show does and then the winner is fucking MECHA-MAN how did they get him!!!

But yeah just the story of one really dedicated production guy (with a Mecha-Man shrine who said that) going out of his way to track down patrol routes and the state of the suit trying to figure out the perfect time to ask. Also just begging and pleading for money to get Mecha-Man from his bosses to have his favorite hero ever on the show. (Maybe if Robert gets far enough production guy™ gets to help with the hints cuz he's the Mecha-Man fan. How else would they know to have a hint referencing that mega villain he infamously caught 13 years ago)

I will admit that I’ve fallen into the rabbit hole of adoring Robert as a good singer (goes with the whole z-team having a thing for his voice idea). Like, you can tell that he’d be way better with slow songs, but he’s not doing bad at all with this one

I love the idea of Mecha Man Blue having really dedicated fans given Robert’s apparent self-hatred. This production puts his entire career on the line just for the chance of bringing Mecha Man onto Masked Singer. He will do it, and the higher-ups need to stop looking at him weirdly
