God. Tomorrow is Election Day. No more early voting. This is it. The final vote on who to decide for the president of the United States of America. I voted for a their party candidate because I wanted to hope beyond hope that a third party candidate would actually have enough votes. But I’ll take Kamala over fucking Trump because I know that Trump will do all sorts of evil things should he be in office. I don’t want a fucking fascist in office. And should he somehow does become president I think we need a fucking god damn miracle.
Yea I know friends who already have their exit plans started... it's scary.
When I was in highschool and he was first running (2016) I had a friends family who was Jewish and lived in New York at the time. Her grandma told them to get out before he was elected.
I remember my friend being so scared and her parents brushing it off as "hey, your paranoid he won't get elected "
Yea... within a month of the election that year, they had moved back to Italy with her grandmother. Thank goodness too!
That being said tho, not everyone can have exit plans and there is still hope. Everyone is allowed hope!
You've done your part by voting, we have to trust the system at this point unfortunately. Even as a Canadian everyone up here is terrified. All the US politics effects ours granted by a few years behind but my Prov just introduced anti Trans and is attempting anti abortion legislation so.. it bleeds across the world.
But I refuse to give into dispair. I'm here for all of you regardless!
