I'm so upset with the Arrow fandom right now. I know a lot of people were against Laurel as a strong character but she was more then the Black Canary. She was one of the last connections Oliver had to his past life before the island, and his first love. Everyone is so pissed about how Laurel told him to fix things with Felicity but honestly I don't think the writers did that to play up the romance between felicity and Oliver but to show that she did love him and that she didn't want him to pass up something great in his life. And the whole her saying to Oliver that he was the love of her life was so on point because he was. Ya she loved Tommy but what she and Oliver had was something more. So no, I don't think that it was a bad exit for her character. They gave us last weeks episode as a send off and she tied up her loose ends with Oliver. Overall ya I'm sad that she won't be in the show but I think it was a nice send off and she will be missed.
