Drow city from sometime last summer. It’s also a page from my scrapped comic, but thought it worked well enough on its own. I had never drawn this detailed of a cityscape before so considering that, I’m quite happy with it.

The Fellowship of Glamdring

While talking with my friends about Lord of the Rings lore, as you do, one of my friends mentioned Gandalf’s sword Glamdring was HATED by Orcs and Goblins and they’d destroy it if they could.

Now I can’t stop picturing orcs finding Glamdring and trying to destroy it, but they can’t. So they decide the only way to destroy the blade is to take it to the hidden elf city Gondolin. 

To do this, the orcs form a fellowship of the blade to travel the lands to destroy the most hated blade, however due to its elven magic and long exposure, the blade begins changing the wielder, purifying the darkness within.

There could be a goblin and an uruk-hai always arguing over who got the most kills
