This has a semi-thick creamy texture that is white in color. There is little to no scent. The cream is slightly thick but lightweight once on the skin. It melts into skin and absorbs well. I love that it doesn’t leave behind a stickiness or leave my skin feeling greasy. With each use my skin feels soft and smooth and the hydration lasts all day. I like to layer my moisturizer at least twice on days my skin feels dehydrated, and unfortunately when I layer this cream it pills. When using just one layer I’ve had no issues with it but when I use two it begins to pill. I would recommend to those with normal, sensitive and combination skin.

E.L.F. Holy Hydration Face Cream SPF 30 is the sister of the original Holy Hydration Cream. It is also a lightweight moisturizer that nourishes and plumps skin while delivering lasting hydration but formulated with SPF 30 protection.

Key Ingredients:

- Hyaluronic Acid draws moisture into the skin for a plumper, more youthful appearance

- Broad Spectrum SPF 30 helps protect skin from harsh UVA/UVB rays

- Niacinamide delivers overall skin improvements including the fading of dark spots and smoothing of skin texture

- Peptides promotes collagen and improves skin texture

- Squalane helps restore the proper balance of natural oils in the skin

This has a rich and thick creamy texture that is white in color. It does contain fragrance, I don’t find it to be overpowering but this who are sensitive to scents more than likely will. While this is a thick cream it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin but takes a bit to fully absorb. It doesn’t leave behind a white cast or stickiness on the skin nor does it leave my skin feeling greasy. My skin always feels hydrated, throughout the day, and soft after each use I’ve had no issues of it piling when used under makeup. I would recommend this to those who have dry, sensitive, combination skin as this might be to heavy for those with oily skin.

e.l.f. Holy Hydration! Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm is a solid balm that melts into an luxurious oil and turns into a nourishing milk texture that melts away makeup and rinses off clean.

The texture is a lightweight solid balm that literally melts into an oil as it glides smoothly across the skin. It feels luxurious going on. I am a big fan of Farmacy’s Melting Balm so I wasn’t expecting much when I picked this up but WOW! How well this works at getting makeup off blew my mind. I love to sit and watch the makeup melt away before using water to rinse it away. My skin never feels dry or tight after using. It always feels hydrated after use and my skin appears to be more plump. It doesn’t leave behind any kind of greasy or oily residue. I would recommend this for all skin types who are looking for an affordable option to double cleansing.
