@inquisiitor thankfully he doesn't bite himself that badly, I just feel so sorry for him. He sits around looking sad and isn't his usual cheerful self. We are pretty careful with his diet too, he gets a pretty expensive brand of dog food that the vet recommended
@cornbeefroast I have actually bought a dress from eshakti before, and I do love that their dresses come in different lengths, but I feel like they’ve raised their prices recently and don’t really offer good promotions anymore. I just want to be able to buy a little $20 maxi dress from Forever 21 or something and not have to fuss around with hemming and such. All the stores seem to cater to tall/average sized people (I’m 5′0″)
@thebearmuse I wasn’t either!!! I looked through my WIP folder and was like... wow... I actually don’t have any happy laughter written in here right now???

I’d say yes overall. Cinder absolutely captivated me. Scarlet, the second book in the series, was a bit more, “eh” although it had some good moments. I liked Cress, the third book, better, but Winter was a flat out disappointing fail. I think the series is definitely worth a read despite its weak moments. It’s super creative and I’m a sucker for fairy tale retellings. Cinder’s definitely the best of the bunch in my opinion.
jediknightcousland yeah I've never had her die either. This time I did one mission (Legion's loyalty mission, which I had to do) after the crew got kidnapped. I thought it would t have much effect but Kelly Chambers and Gabby both died :( I'm so sad because I really liked Ken and Gabby together and HES SO SAD AND QUIET ugghhhh
thebearmuse it was worse because I talked with Kenneth afterwards and he was like "I can't believe Gabby's gone... She fought till the end." And I was like whyyyyyy now I'm crying

todisturbtheuniverse I suppose “loathe” is too strong of a word. I just mourn what could have been and how they slaughtered characters and important scenes for things that were dumb/pointless. Of course they are Harry Potter movies, so there’s something redeeming to them, but for me they never come close to the books. We’re watching #7 part 2 tomorrow night! :)
