Elias' fast walk tore up the Manhattan streets as he moved farther away from his high school's front entrance. He was glad to be going home, he loved teaching but there were some days his students tested his patience. Only two students participated frequently in class today while the others nearly passed out on their desks. Sure it was seven in the morning for that class, but his ten and twelve o'clock classes were the same. So, he did what any teacher did, woke up his sleeping students by chucking molecule ball models at them, nearly causing a senior a black eye. Worth it.
His grip on his briefcase tightened, how come kids were so bored by science? They weren't bored by what it has created for them like phones and computers, so what was so bad about the subject? A defeated sigh dragged from his lips as he stopped at an intersection. His eyes scanned around at other pedestrians until a bon of sandy blonde hair caught his eye. Was that. . . ? Getting a better look at the tall, thin frame, he walked with the herd as it began to move again. A folder was tucked under the man's arm and Elias picked up the pace, trying to match the man. Once they landed on the other side of the sidewalk, Elias felt himself do something he never did in a crowded area, yell out.
"Adrian?"
