Minnie and Jacob decide to have a moment in a church’s upper floor following a sermon
~~~~~~~~~
Minnie fought the urge to move Jacob’s hand to let a finger slide into her mouth as his hand clasped over her mouth. Through his own groan, Jacob told her they had to be quiet, both of them knowing that while the service was over, John and Joseph were still in the church hearing confessions.
But it was hard for Minnie to be quiet when Jacob was fucking her as good as he was that afternoon.
Minnie’s legs were wrapped around Jacob’s waist and pushed up as high as they could go, but she desperately wanted more. The few times she had tried to move a leg to his shoulder, he pushed it back down with a growl and a look on his face that drove Minnie wild. Jacob knew that in that position, Minnie couldn’t be as quiet as she needed to be. Hell, Jacob knew he wouldn’t be quiet.
Having sex in a church, especially with members of said church still inside, wasn’t something Minnie thought she and Jacob would ever do. But Joseph’s sermon was about lust and Jacob’s hand kept inching higher and higher on Minnie’s thigh. They had decided silently together that they couldn’t wait to get back to their cabin.
Jacob pulled his hand back slightly as he felt Minnie’s tongue poke out of her mouth and lick his palm. She giggled at the look on his face, her tongue still sticking out, but her playful demeanor was quickly changed as Jacob’s hand wrapped around her throat. She stared up at him as he squeezed gently.
Minnie whined and arched her back as she felt his thrusts quicken. Jacob’s eyes closed and his breathing was starting to become heavier. He leaned down to kiss her; it was rough and sloppy with the movements of his hips, but Minnie eagerly returned the kiss. It seemed so rare they ever had sex in a position where they could easily kiss each other.
Jacob’s lips trailed down to her jawline, under her chin, and finally to her neck. He found her pulse and placed his tongue at the base of her neck before trailing it up. When he was satisfied by the strangled moan from Minnie, still trying to keep herself quiet, he repeated the action.
“Fuck, Minnie…” Jacob moaned against her skin as she felt her muscles squeezing around him. If he wasn’t close before, he definitely was now. He pushed a hand between them and began rubbing her clit with his thumb, causing Minnie to cry out his name. Below them, they heard the hushed murmurs of confessions stop for a few seconds, as if they were all trying to find where the sound had come from.
“Jacob, please,” Minnie begged, the pleading in her voice almost too much for Jacob to handle. “Baby, I am so close.”
Her nails dug into Jacob’s back as he pressed harder on her clit. She dragged them up and down his back as she felt the familiar tug in her stomach. She silently begged Jacob not to stop; edging wasn’t on her mind at the current moment, although she did enjoy that from time to time.
“Fuck...fuck, that’s it. Good girl, Minnie...” Jacob moaned as he felt Minnie tighten around him again. This time, it didn’t let up and stop like before.
Minnie whimpered at his praise; usually he would find ways to give her praise when he wanted to fuck her, knowing it always got her in the mood almost immediately.
Minnie lifted her hips slightly and Jacob’s free hand returned to her mouth. He loved hearing her when she finished, loved watching her and knowing that it was because of him, but right now he needed her quiet, no matter how it pained him to not watch her entire face as she finished.
Minnie threw her head back and moaned into Jacob’s palm as she came, her legs shaking around his waist and her eyes squeezing shut. Jacob buried his face in her chest and grunted as he gave his final few thrusts before finishing inside of her, too lost in the feeling to think of pulling out.
They stayed like that for a few moments, Jacob buried deep inside of her and Minnie’s legs still glued to his waist. Jacob kissed her softly as he pulled out of her and eased her legs down. He pulled her into his arms, knowing she liked to be held afterwards, and smiled softly as she nuzzled against his chest.
“Do you think they heard?” Minnie asked, looking up at him. She didn’t need a visit from Joseph at her cabin about the dangers of sin, and she definitely didn’t want to be told she wasn’t allowed to see his brother anymore.
“With how quiet you were, I’m sure not.” Jacob replied with a chuckle. Minnie lightly smacked his chest at the sarcasm in his voice.
“Well if you weren’t so fucking big and fucked me so well, maybe I’d be quieter.” Minnie said with a huff.
“Sounds like you’re complaining,” Jacob said with a smirk. He opened his mouth to speak again, but John's voice shouting up at them from downstairs cut him off.
“Lock the church up when you leave. Joseph would like to see you both showered and decent for dinner tonight. Same time as always.”
They listened to John’s footsteps continue towards the door. Minnie knew, despite John being the confessor, he wouldn’t judge them for fornicating. She knew he had hopes that Jacob would marry Minnie, and the sins she and Jacob committed could be forgotten.
“Yeah,” Jacob said as the door closed, “I think they heard.”
I really suck at naming fics, so have this 1691 word fic I wrote for Anthony and Gareth last night. I love them and they deserve good, happy things. This is a little angsty, but it gets happy.
-----
Anthony was doing a good job at avoiding Gareth for a couple of days following the rather interesting encounter they had the week prior. Anthony still didn’t know what was wrong with him; he had never felt this way about anyone before, and had never thought he would find himself in love with a man. Not that he felt there was anything wrong with that—Alexander had come out three years ago and, while Anthony gave him a hard time because that’s just what Anthony did to everyone about everything, he hadn’t meant anything by it and made sure that Alexander knew that. But Anthony hadn’t thought that he himself would find love with a man.
Was it love? Anthony shook his head at the thought of that and sighed, nearly cutting his finger with the knife he was sharpening. Of course it wasn’t love, he didn’t fucking love Gareth. He hardly knew him, first off. Secondly, Anthony was still heartbroken over Christine leaving. Of course Gareth was just a place-holder until she eventually came home. It had been three years since she left, but Anthony was certain she’d come to her senses and return to Hope County to be with him and their daughter.
But Gareth did seem to light something in Anthony that Christine wasn’t able to. Anthony couldn’t remember feeling the butterflies in his stomach with Christine that he had heard Arielle talk about once before. When Anthony really thought about it, he didn’t even really like spending time with Christine that much, only getting to have sex with her. He used to leave after they were done, and he’d make up excuses to avoid hanging out with her other times. With Gareth, he seemed to be making excuses just to see him.
But it wasn’t love. Anthony knew he wasn’t built for love.
To prove it to himself, Anthony decided to avoid Gareth. It worked for a few days, but Gareth eventually found him and one thing led to another and Anthony found himself on his back with Gareth’s head between his legs, doing something that Anthony had never found that pleasurable when Christine would do it. But with Gareth, it was different. And it terrified Anthony.
So for the week following that, Anthony found every excuse he could to be away from Prosperity and far away from where the Highwaymen were gathering in larger groups. But, of course, Anthony’s luck had to run out eventually.
He had set up a small campsite near the prison on his way back to Prosperity, knowing he was getting tired and traveling while tired was more dangerous than stopping and sleeping for a couple of hours. Anthony never slept that much, anyway. He was alone, save for the dog he had decided to rescue from a Highwayman who had chained him to a tree and left him there.
Anthony was just about to put the small campfire out when he heard the sound of crunching leaves to his right. Grabbing the pistol that sat beside him on the ground, he trained it in the direction of the noise and held his breath. The dog’s ears perked up and he tilted his head to the side, but didn’t bark or get up to lunge at the person as they stepped through the trees.
“Fucking hell…of course it’s you.” Anthony said, rolling his eyes as Gareth pulled the bandana down away from his face. “You fucking following me? Goddamn creep…”
Gareth’s face fell as he heard Anthony’s words.
“I was out for a walk and saw a fire going… I just wanted to see who it was, I’m sorry.” Gareth tried to not sound so disappointed. He had been so excited when he noticed it was Anthony sitting at the fire, but now he wished he had just kept walking.
“Well, take the fucking hint that I don’t want you around and get out of here.”
“You don’t…Anthony, I think we need to talk. I thought we were—”
“Whatever you’re thinking, it’s wrong.” Anthony interrupted, not even giving Gareth the chance to finish his sentence. Gareth took a deep breath and walked over to the campfire. He took his pack off his back, letting it fall in the dirt, before sitting down. He ran his hands through his hair and down his face, trying to gather his thoughts.
“I thought you were just busy, but now I’m thinking you’ve been purposely avoiding me,” Gareth said, “and that really hurts, Anthony. What we’ve been doing…does that mean nothing to you?”
“No. Why would it mean anything to me?” Anthony snorted and shook his head, trying to hide the blush that he felt creeping up onto his face as he remembered the way Gareth’s mouth had felt on him. “It was a stupid mistake and it’s not going to happen again, okay? Now go away, I need to sleep.”
“I get that you’re upset about your ex-girlfriend, but your mom told me that was three years ago—”
“You talked to my mother about us?!” Anthony jumped up suddenly, his pistol still grasped tightly in his hand. Tears were now burning in his eyes and he shook with shame and anger. Gareth was startled, nearly falling back, his hand reaching for his own pistol as a reflex.
“No—Anthony, there’s nothing to talk about! Unless there is, and that’s why you’ve been avoiding me.” Gareth said. Then, it hit him. The look in Anthony’s eyes and the way he always tried to brush everything off that they did together…it made sense now, and Gareth didn’t understand how he hadn’t put the pieces together until that point. Gareth had always done the same thing before he finally came out to his parents before they were killed. “Anthony, have you ever had feelings for another man before?”
Anthony didn’t answer right away. Instead, he turned from Gareth to wipe the tears from his eyes that were threatening to fall. He braced himself before turning back to Gareth, looking at the other man sitting there, hating the way he thought Gareth’s dark eyes looked so beautiful with the fire reflecting off of them. Anthony sat down and reached for a stick to poke the fire, wishing that it would engulf him; he was certain that would hurt less than the conversation that Gareth seemed to want to have with him.
“I don’t have feelings for you.” Anthony said. “I just like the shit you do with your tongue, that’s all.”
“Why?”
“Why? That’s a fucking stupid question, Gareth. Because it feels good, shit…why else would I like it?”
“You know there’s nothing wrong with being gay. I mean, your brother is married to a man, I know your parents wouldn’t hate you or anything for it.”
Anthony was quiet for a little while after that; Gareth mirrored his silence, not wanting to push him too far. Anthony took some deer meat that he had hunted earlier that day and tossed the package it was in towards Gareth without a word. Gareth had enough time to eat a piece before Anthony decided to reply to him.
“I don’t understand what I’m feeling. I was with Christine, we…fuck, we had a kid together. I’m not gay.” Anthony said. Gareth opened his mouth to speak, but Anthony held his hand up, silencing him before he could start. “But I just…fuck, Gareth, I don’t know! When Christine sucked me off, it never felt that good. And I get this feeling in my chest when you’re around me, even when we aren’t doing anything, all you have to be doing is sitting there like you are now with that stupid fucking look on your face and I just…it’s like I can’t breathe. I’ve never felt this before, and it scares me. And I don’t know why I’m even telling you this, you can run back to your Highwaymen friends and make fun of the stupid kid you met while infiltrating our base.” Anthony wiped his eyes again, not even bothering to hide it from Gareth.
Gareth listened without trying to interrupt Anthony again. He waited a moment to make sure that Anthony was done before slowly standing up. He walked around the fire, which was starting to die down a bit, and sat closer to Anthony. He gently took Anthony’s hand in his own and looked at Anthony, holding his attention.
“Does this make you feel anything?” Gareth asked as he gave Anthony’s hand a gentle squeeze. Anthony just blinked in response. “What about this?” Gareth raised Anthony’s hand to his lips and kissed his knuckles before resting his forehead against Anthony’s hand for a brief moment. Anthony pulled his hand away quickly; when Gareth looked up at Anthony, Anthony quickly closed the gap and kissed Gareth.
“I hate you…” Anthony said as he pulled away. Gareth chuckled before kissing Anthony again.
“Are you sure about that?” Gareth sat back, resting with his hands behind him, a smug look on his face. “Anthony, I’m being serious. If you really want nothing to do with me, I’ll understand. It will hurt, but if you’re still insisting that you feel nothing for me, tell me. I’ll leave you alone, I won’t come around Prosperity anymore. It’ll be like I left Hope County, I promise. I’m not asking you to name your feelings for me, I just need to know they’re there.”
Anthony picked at the skin next to his thumb and took a deep breath. He shrugged and gently pushed on Gareth’s chest, waiting for him to lay back before curling up next to him and resting his head on Gareth’s chest.
“You know I have feelings for you, you fucking idiot.” Anthony said, causing Gareth to laugh as he wrapped his arms around Anthony. “Can we talk about that in the morning? Right now, I just need you to hold me.”
“Yeah, I think I can handle that, baby.” Gareth said softly as he rubbed Anthony’s back. His other hand went to play with Anthony’s hair. Anthony smiled and cuddled closer to Gareth and closed his eyes. It didn’t take either man long to fall asleep.
Erin closed her eyes as she put her head on John’s shoulder. It was a peaceful evening in the Holland Valley, all things considered. Erin was able to sneak away from the Resistance that night, coming up with a story about how it was the anniversary of an uncle’s death that she was upset about and she wanted some time away from everyone to grieve. It was bullshit, and she knew she shouldn’t lie about something like that, but she was also running out of reasons to disappear for the night. She was also running out of makeup and excuses to cover up the hickeys and bite marks that John would leave along her neck, shoulders, and collarbones. At least it was starting to get colder out, and she could get away with wearing her scarves and high-collared jackets. She knew Nick was starting to catch on that maybe Erin’s casual relationship with John was starting to pick up again. But if he had realized it, he didn’t say anything to Erin yet. She just had to keep bracing herself for that conversation.
I was tagged by @josephseeds-rosary, thank you!! <3 Let’s see what I’ve got >:3 As usual, I never know where to cut off my WIP so I’m going to post all that I have written so far!
I’m tagging @softseeds and whoever else would like to do this, I’m not sure who all has been tagged already!
Luciana sighed as she walked back through the gates of New Eden. The only thought on her mind was the longing to find Ethan so she could curl up in his arms and relax. The supply run had taken longer than she expected, and she wasn’t used to being away from New Eden for so long. She had to travel to a newer stop on the new trade route they were trying to implement, even with the Highwaymen threatening to kill them at every turn. It was about half a day’s journey on foot beyond the Flame of Eden. Luciana was a little bruised and dirty, but nothing that she wasn’t used to after a run. It was the deep exhaustion she felt to her bones that was bothering her.
“Amelia, have you seen Ethan around?” Luciana asked as she walked up to the older woman who lived next door to Ethan and Luciana. She was a kind woman who had been with Eden’s Gate since before the Collapse. She was like Luciana’s second mother, always keeping an eye on her. Amelia turned to face Luciana, her lips pressing into a thin line. The jovial expression the older woman usually wore was replaced with something Luciana didn’t understand—disgust.
“He’s at the church.” Amelia replied and turned back to her garden. Luciana blinked a few times as she stared, dumbfounded, at the woman who usually teased Luciana and Ethan about their relationship—it seemed all of New Eden could tell they were in love with each other before the two of them realized it. Sighing, Luciana turned to go into her home to put her things down so she could get washed up and changed before going to see Ethan. She wondered if Ethan had done something to piss off everyone again, which wouldn’t have surprised Luciana. She knew his temper was short, especially when it came to the topic of Joseph. He had been on the minds of the New Edeners a lot lately, and Luciana was a little worried that something had happened while she was gone.
