fun fact: since nilaani and elijah had a marriage of convenience and didn't fall in love until later, she was pretty insecure that he'd leave her if he ever actually fell in love with some other girl that had more time on her hands since she was still in uni, so elijah tattooed her wedding mehndi onto his hand as a promise to always stick with her lolz
