ceeturnalia. because i am cee, and my birthday is the most important holiday on the calendar. it used to be observed as a pagan festival and many of those traditions remain (feasting, burnt offerings, uncorking of the year's beaujolais nouveau) but now it's mainly a day for family and friends to buy me things.

i remember those days too and honestly it's so easy to forget how scared i used to be, and how much i've changed in the last 16 years (god help me) on this site! i'm so glad you're still here with me 💛

and thank you so much! i am learning to accept my face for what it is and not be ashamed/afraid of it anymore. i was so used to people cringing at the sight of it, but now i understand i was seeing my dysmorphia in everybody around me. it's been a long, long journey, but i am slowly getting better
