ELITEGLEEKS mixes the plot of the Netflix show ELITE with GLEE in an open town and college rp environment located in Spain, where canon characters from both shows are available for play in an au way. All characters are 21+ (please be 21+ ooc too) and either attend Las Dalton Encinas, attend San Esteban McKinley, or live in the surrounding town. Consider this a secrets rp where Glee characters are written as residents of Spain to fit into the Las Encinas/San Esteban drama of Elite. They can be natives or they can have moved there from anywhere around the world.

Nadia was born into a Palestinian Muslim family, though Nadia herself was born and raised in Spain. Her family immigrated before she was born and she grew up in the family convenience store. She always knew that doors weren't going to open for her if she didn't work for it, and she knew that there were a lot of rules that people expected a girl like her to abide by, so she always did her best to fit the mold, follow the rules, and maintain her grades. The only time she ever really went out anywhere was with her friend, Samuel. Prior to this year, she attended San Esteban McKinley before the building collapsed. She is one of the few students that received a scholarship to attend the upper class private school, Las Dalton Encinas. She wasn't hurt in the event or even around when it happened, but she had the highest grades at San Esteban McKinley and the socialites involves in the planning process for the scholarship program being renewed were very interested in having her at Las Dalton Encinas.
Though she is an adult, Nadia lives with her parents. Her parents are strict and have strong ideals. They believe that Nadia should adhere to the Muslim faith and conservative beliefs. Their ideals for her older sister drove her out of the house, and Omar left in the middle of her first year after the transfer too. It's been hard for her to keep the family business running and keep up with school, so Nadia was happy when Omar offered to come back to help at home. He still lives with Samuel, but he does come around in his free time to help run the family business and help with their father.
The only times that Nadia has really stepped out of the box were in the middle of her first year after getting the scholarship, when she caught the attention of the popular crowd of socialites. She wasn't trying to catch anyone's attention, she was trying to keep her head down in every aspect aside from her grades, but she was curious nonetheless. The first time she broke a rule that had been set for her, her father fell ill. She thought he might die, and she blamed herself. Another terrible thing happened the second time. She hasn't really stepped out of her comfort zone since.

Born in London, Patrick is new to the socialite circle in Spain but not new to being a socialite. That means that his entrance into Las Dalton Encinas is not welcome by all, but he’s charming and has everything that everyone else in the popular crowd has so it will be easy to find a place to fit in with the rich, social elites. He’ll be known for spending time at the gay bar and flirting with men, but he also knows how to keep himself contained enough that his father doesn’t step in or say anything. He knows that he could be cut off if he acts too foolishly, so he does what is expected of him and keeps most of his shenanigans private.
Patrick is hedonistic, whimsical and seductive. If Ari follows exactly what her father dictates, and Mencía goes against it by system, he does what he wants at all times, making the world believe that he is following the rules. He always gets what he wants. And he wants it all, all the time, as he himself proclaims. He is not only the middle child in age, but the middle child in personality as well. His older sister is known for being almost tyrannical about being the best, getting more than other people, and following the rules (when it suits her). His younger sister is an absolute rebel and is often cut off financially for misbehaving in ways that she thinks will harm their father’s and their family reputation.
An example of such behavior is when he was younger, Mencía ran away from home. He and his mother drove around looking for her. They got into a car crash. His mother died instantly and Patrick was bedridden for two years. Before that, he hadn’t really thought very hard about his life but afterwards, he had spent so much of those two years missing the things that he could no longer do that he decided to live his life to the fullest. He wants more than anything to be loved, and to be special to someone else. As a rich socialite, he’s more used to being used.
Outside of public politics and his search for love and a good lay, Patrick is a fashionista and enjoys expressing himself visually. He can be a little naive, but he is also very good at reading people. He falls in and out of love quickly.

Omar grew up in a very traditional Muslim family, following and adhering to each of his parents' rules and belief systems. Always having taken a bit of a backseat to his sister Nadia, he did his best to uphold his family- to keep them happy and most of all, fed. While Nadia attended Las Dalton Encinas on scholarship first, he remained at the community college, taking only one or two courses at a time to ensure he had the time to continue working at his family's small grocery store. In the past, he has also dealt drugs in an attempt to help make ends meet. Through his sister's interactions at Las Dalton Encinas, as well as with the help of a few outside sources, Omar began to make his own connections at the wealthy, elite school. Having lived his life as a closeted homosexual, Omar met and fell in love with his long-time boyfriend Ander, and the two went through more together than any young couple should have had to. Eventually, after a few years, Omar was able to score himself a scholarship to Las Dalton Encinas. With his new world seemed to come a new Omar. He moved out of his parents' house and in with his boyfriend, began working at a club in town, and began living authentically as he explored himself and his interests for the first time.
However, with this freedom came struggle, turmoil, and turbulence, none of which Omar foresaw. And, at the end of it all, following relationship-changing explorations and introductions involving faces seen in the halls of Las Dalton Encinas, Omar found himself single and re-evaluating everything he'd thought his life would turn into while finding his own freedom. Now, Omar has returned to school to prove himself, and to experience everything else his life has to offer. Though he is still living separately from his family, in a small shared apartment with his good friend Samuel, he has returned to work at his family's grocery store after realizing how hard they were struggling following his father's latest health scare. Omar is thoughtful and caring, though he is sometimes unsure of himself and where he is going in life.

I wanted to leave things as specifically vague as possible, given the events of the most recent season and where things are starting in this timeline. I'd like to say that everything that canonically happened between Ander/Omar/Patrick is still in play and has happened, but I'm leaving Ander and Omar broken up at this point to allow for more exploration should anyone want to bring Ander and further explore their relationship. However, I am open to exploring literally anything.
Since Omar has been around in so many places and used to be a dealer, I welcome established and assumed connections, just let me know where he might know your character from if it isn't obvious (i.e. if your character is a Glee character, maybe they met at the Shanaa market, maybe Omar used to deal to them, maybe they just know him from one of the schools or because of his sister)
