To me, empowerment means visibility. Less so in a sense of public image, but rather in a sense of self image and enabling others in your life to feel seen. Feeling seen. People who empower me are other trans woman/femmes who have blazed their own pathways into worlds they see themselves flourishing in. That inspires me and enables me to do the same.
