Saw ur post abt Lenz being a teaboo/talking in a British accent and that kinda ties into some hcs of mine I thought I'd share with you! 1. billy has echolalia (yes this is based purely off that one scene where billy repeats what Peter said to Claire, sue me) and I think that the lullaby he sings in the movie might be a part of it? Like, he heard it in passing and started singing it. The only question is how tf one of the sorority girls got around to singing it???

(2/3) 2. Lenzshire hc: over time billy would adopt a British accent because A: he thinks Brahms's voice is pretty and wants 2 sound like him and B: as a result of his echolalia maybe? Idk much abt how it works, Google can only tell me so much qwp. it wouldn't be noticeable at first, but he starts hitting his 't's a bit harder and even saying certain words in a full-on accent(light, button, and pretty would be words I think he'd like to say a lot)

I think it's actually canon Billy takes up stuff, it's v v obvious in the commentary he repeats a lot if not nearly all of his dialogue. I think a lot of what he says in general is repeated from other people and that's how he goes about with talking

I think he adapted the lullaby from his childhood? I don't think that was something the girls sung, I mean it could've been at one point! I don't doubt it. With the baby doll + how it's a children's lullaby I always assumed it was something his mom sung to Agnes and he tried to recreate that (hence the babydoll in Clarie's arms)

He totally would pick up on Brahm's accent! In the commentary he goes on a whole tangine multiple times about British accents and I think he thinks they sound nice. I think it'd be hidden admiration and also I think an involuntary action in an attempt to try to seem Normal (or adjust to the normal around him)
