This ships thing is also reminding me of the most wholesome fanship I ever did consider before canon ground it completely into dust: Arthur and Eli Liones. (Specifically that Elizabeth, as this was in like 2017 before the full scope of her reincarnation was revealed.) It’s the softest, most saccharine and angst-free little pairing. Loved that.
