I realise how depressing that sounded like. :'D I didn't mean it that depressing, I'm not feeling lonely or anything right now. It just sort of...occurred to me. It'd really take a few days before anyone even got worried. It's sort of scary, though, and that's why I don't want change a light bulb when I'm alone because what if I slip and break my neck and no one will know?

Same, same. My flatmates would notice the smell and that’s the only way anyone would find out

I have a whole flat to myself, so people might not notice the smell... I might be found in a few weeks..? Depending on the time of the year. In summer it could take weeks for anyone to notice me missing.
