Is it noisy there? Im glad that all the stressful moving is behind you :-)

Not at all..! Like my previous place, it's right next to the staircase, but here I can't hear anything at all from there! I used to hear people walking up and down while I tried to sleep. Also the lift is right behind my wall, too, and I can't hear it at all! And the trains and the announcements from the station... I only hear those if the window is opened. :D (unless it's a heavy freight train, then I hear a little noise). I'm so happy with this place..!

The only complaint I've got is that cooker hood seems to be on all the time. O_o Like, it's doubling as air conditioning or something. It makes the air so dry I wake up at night and my eyes burn and I need to get something to drink and I actually need to put lotion in my nostrils. D: It helps when I open the window, but I've contacted the caretakers of this building about it. I can't live here if something can't be done about it, because I can't sleep with an open window in the winter. :/ Hopefully someone contacts me back tomorrow.

ugh i hate loud neighbour parties, maybe the new flat will be less noisy place?

I hope so..! It's a student house, but at least there won't be any nightclubs. I've understood they're pretty strict about rules, so you can get thrown out if people complain you make too much noise. *evil grin* But my new windows facing south so I don't even want to think about how hot it will be in the summer. D:
