Hunting Disaster {Elladan|Elros}
Elros greeted the sun as it rose over the house of Imladris. Silver eyes reflected a bright light as they watched the hues of orange and pink bleed into the midnight hues of blue-- chasing away the night and bringing a beautiful dawn upon the morning.
He took in a soft breath, letting the fragrance of the garden below lull him as the breeze waffled by. Such a beautiful summer morning, and yet, so easy was it to overlook over the daunting shadows in evey corner. Too concerned with leaving this world, were his people. Elros did not feel the same longing tug of the Valinor-- ah, but perhaps that was because he lived for another reason all together. So long as his brother remained in his land, he would. There was no rush for him.
The old elf leaned back against the chair that supported him and stretched. Ahh too long had been sitting...! With a soft grunt Elros hauled himself out of the office chair, and rubbed at his back as he tried to straighten upwards. Whoever said elves didn't age, never watched a half-elf grow old. He knew he was not as agile as he had been in his youth-- then again, Elros mused-- he had become far too comfortable. In his youth he had ran for his life more often than not!
Ah, the days of tormenting Maglor and Maedhros had been good ones.
Elros collected the documents he had been working on, and stuffed them under one arm before leaving the office behind him. There was a reason he had been up so early finishing those reports. He had promised a certain someone his time this afternoon. Elros never liked to disappoint.
After dropping the documents off with one of Elrond's councilmen (who still had problems telling him apart from Elrond himself) Elros made a quick stop at his room to change. The robes that so often got him confused with Imladris' ruler were switched for riding gear-- something Elros was much more comfortable wearing.
With a large bow strung across his shoulder, and chain-mail clinking softly-- the once great king made his way towards the banquette hall. A quick breakfast and a few provisions would be in order.
