So, since you’re on a tirade about veggies right now...do you approve of my lacto-ovo-vegetarianism? Also, sorta related but not really--a few people have been bothering me lately about BUT WHY DON’T YOU BECOME A STRICT ETHICAL VEGAN and I just wanna smack ‘em in their gobs. I hate when those self-righteous fucks out there in the world try to dictate my diet.

“Mix and match nails are pretty cool okay? Buuut I have a feeling you’re going to love this little concoction I’ve whipped up.” Ella didn’t normally paint her nails, in fact, she’s never painted her nails before. Usually they were just chipped with dirt and blood underneath the nails. But… this was nice.

And she really did want to see how well her own mixed up nail polish would work.

“You made your own?!” Charlie looked up at that point, momentarily distracted. They didn’t even think that that was an option! “That’s so cool.” 

Okay, they definitely had to get Ella’s nails painted and top-coat applied so they could see this! Some day they would figure out how to make those lights that people used to quick-dry their nails, but sadly that was not a skill of theirs just yet.

He froze, eyes landing on the other. This must have been a surprise for her; one that most people would have hated to see especially at this time.

“I should apologise for this. I didn’t have time to clean my suit at work. You shouldn’t worry, these stains are just ectoplasm and a mixture we’ve been testing on ghosts,” it was mostly the mixture that he was worried about. The fact that there was a red shimmer when the light hit it could have made people question if they should avoid him and call the police or not.
